The british Booker Prize, for the first time in 27 years, two of the authors are presented

As the Uk’s Man Booker Prize has, for the first time in 27 years, was awarded to two of the authors. In both, Margaret Atwood (The Covenant), as Bernardine Evaristo (Girl), Female, Other, has, according to a jury composed of the best English-language fiction book of the past year written on it.

“It is clear that, according to the rules, only one winner can be”, says chairman of the judges, Peter Florence, according to The New York Times. “The members of the jury were all agreed to these rules, and for a time to let go of, and for the price, this is the year to be divided among the two winning players.”

In 1992, the last time two of the authors of the award winners, after which it was decided that from that moment on, only one winner could be declared.

The 79-year-old Atwood from Canada, the 60-year-old year-old British Evaristo will be in the amount of 57.000 euro will be distributed. Girl, Woman, Other, that of Evaristo talks about the twelve different ways, most of them British, black women. The book came out in may of this year.
