There are “bridezillas,” and then there are those who feel the burden of their friend to cancer.
A post that appeared on Reddit is a “Bridezilla” forum (after it had appeared on a Facebook wedding group, to tell the alleged story of a bride-to-be, who is expected to be one of her bridesmaids — who have been affected by cancer, the extra pay for the make-up and buy a wig for the wedding.
The bride-to-be to have her cancer-stricken friend to pay for her bridesmaid’s make-up.

“My best friend is getting married in two weeks,” the post reads. “They asked me to be a bridesmaid in October, way before my cancer diagnosis. Since the diagnosis, I have lost my hair, including eyebrows and eyelashes.”
And this is where the story takes a strange turn of events.
“(The bride) loves to make comments about the (to me) to have a wig for her wedding,” the post continues. “On a day to day basis, I just have to rock my bald head, and it is not economically viable or practical for me to buy a good wig, just before her wedding day. I don’t know how to explain it to her. I can understand that she doesn’t want me to go bald, but it’s the way I am right now.”
As if that wasn’t shocking enough, it is the bridesmaid also adds, “(The bride), also dropped the bombshell that the girl they hired for the make-up and it doesn’t cost me extra, because they are going to have to put in extra work on you.” Am I wrong in feeling that this was completely unfair?”

The comment section was full of comments in support of the original author. A lot of you showed no compassion in the direction of the bride-to-be, with a heading saying, “well, tell her that you’re terribly sorry, but your in a life-threatening illness, it is her grief.”

The others came up with creative solutions to the problem. As one commenter suggested, “I would have to buy, a clown wig when I’m in this situation. Tell the “friend” that they never said that they don’t want to be a clown-wig, worn at her wedding.”

Another commenter summed up the majority of the comments, writing, “I hope that I am the author) has been benefitting from it. Force your bridesmaids to have to pay extra because the cancer was in her un-pretty’ is one of the most selfish things I’ve heard about it.”
