An airline was forced to delete a tweet on Wednesday which is the best seat to sit in order to be able to survive in a plane crash.

“According to data provided by the studies for the first Time, the mortality rate of the seats in the middle of the plane, which is the highest. However, the mortality and morbidity of the seats in the front, not the least of the seats in the rear third of the aircraft,” KLM India tweet said.

The tweet was an answer to a trivia question as the airline I said earlier, The new york times reported.

The airline later issued an apology.

“It’s a message that is based on a publicly available aviation in fact, and it is a @KLM’s view. It was never our intention to hurt anyone’s feelings. The post has since been removed.”

The tweet was most likely based on the 2015, an article saying that place at the rear of the aircraft with the highest survivability in a crash.
