America’s spookiest family is making a comeback in the only medium that they contain animation. The cast of MGM’s upcoming “The Addams Family” movie.

“Greg and I’ve always been a fan of the Addams Family in previous versions, so if we are to make of this film, we were excited to do something new,” Vernon said in a statement. “With that in mind, I pulled out of the beautiful original Charles Addams New Yorker cartoons for the look of the film and decided to tell the story of how Gomez, and) are common to meet, to find their house and start their family. This unique approach is what drew me in to the film. The show’s themes also extends to the stellar cast we have together, each with their own spin on the film that will appeal to loyal fans of the Addams family and introduce them to a new generation.”
The movie hits theaters Oct. 11, 2019.
