Peter van der Linden, actor and theater director, is on at the age of 95 and died in his birthplace, The Hague. His family placed an obituary in The newspaper.
Van der Linden played in various theatre groups and founded in 1971 along with a few others, the Hague-toneelgroep De Appel. For a long time, the group was one of the most successful theatre companies of the country, until 2016, when the subsidy was cancelled.
Van der Linden won as an actor in 1976, a Louis d’or for best actor, for his role in the Greek piece of Agamemnon.
The actor made his debut in 1948, at the time he played in the South Nederlandsch Tooneel.
