A 3,000-year-old clay pot that has been described as the world’s first “baby-bottle” has been unearthed by the researchers in the field.
The container was found in a bronze age grave in the region of Bavaria, southern Germany, and was to be buried along with the cremated remains of a young child, probably between the ages of 1 and 2, with reports in the South West News Service (SWNS) is a British news agency reported.
SWNS add to this the fact that the container was to be used for the feeding of infants, milk from cows, goats, or sheep. It is also possible that there may be other types of containers that will be used during the Neolithic age, when the baby bottles, but there is no definite proof of this.

2,100-YEAR-OLD-IPHONE-CASE ” HAS BEEN DISCOVERED IN THE ‘RUSSIAN ATLANTIS’
“This is a very small, pleasant, ship, provide us with valuable information on how and what infants were fed, thousands of years ago, and it’s providing a real connection to mums and babies in the past,” said Dr. Julie Dunne, the study’s lead author and a geochemist at the University of Bristol.
The container had a two-inch-wide bowl, as well as with a narrow spout used to pour the liquid.
The researchers were able to identify traces of milk, with the aid of a chemical analysis on the container, but will not be able to identify the exact species.
Researchers had previously thought that babies were being fed by their mother with their own mother’s milk. The discovery has caused them to re-create the way in which humanity has developed over the past several thousand years.

“This is the proof of that is the food which is being used to feed or weaning period, pre-historic infants, confirming the importance of the milk of the domestic animals of these early communities, and provides information about the infant-feeding behaviors that have been practiced by prehistoric human groups,” Dunne pointed out.
4,500-YEAR-OLD BRASS DAGGER, ANTIQUE OBJECTS, FOUND IN THE BURIAL CAVE IN NORTHERN ISRAEL
Two other ships of the same type have been found in the graves of the babies, which date back to between 2,800 and 2,450 years. They also contains fatty acids that have been found by researchers in the field.
Thin, it should be noted, that these vessels have appeared in other civilizations.
“These vessels, though rare, do appear in the other pre-historic cultures, such as Rome and ancient Greece, all over the world,” Dunne added. “Ideally, we would like to conduct a larger geographical study, and to find out whether they had the same goal.”
The study is published in the journal Nature.
