That Answer stops in 2017
The South African rap-rave trio That Answer stops in september next year. The group wants before a crime film release.
That Answer has Friday the single Fat Faded Fuck Face released and according to music site Exclaim to know a year in music together.
The dancegroep consists of DJ Hi-Tek and rappers Ninja and Yo-Landi. At the beginning of their career, said the musicians five albums to wish to release and then it would stop. The fourth album comes out this year.
“That Answer will die on that day. Then it is all over,” says Ninja in an interview. “It feels nice. I am not afraid for the end. I am a Ninja and I’m not afraid of death.”
The band will next year a large art project in the Museum of Contemporary Modern Art Africa in Cape town.
“We are working on a film titled South African Ninja, we are working already for ages, literally about ten years, and that we are now in the process of finalising,” says Ninja. It is a fictitious film, inspired by the band. “It is hard and raw and everything seems to be in our lives, but it has a surreal connection with the reality.”
