The South African rap/rave/technogroep That Answer is for another year with music-making. And then it is all over.
In september of 2018 say the South African cranks (aka DJ Hi-Tek and rappers Ninja and Yo-Landi) the music scene goodbye. That writes Exclaim. “On that day dies That Answer,” says Ninja.
But in that last year, the band will still be very productive, it turns out. On 16 september, the fourth plate Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid. And they also want to have a fifth bijduwen before they retire. In addition, there is diligently working on an art project for the Museum of Contemporary Modern Art Africa in Cape town, and also a film in the pipeline where That Answer say that for ten years now. “It is a South-African gangster film in which African ninja’s popping up. It is a violent and raw film, and have all the ingredients in one way or another to do with our lives.”
That Response, known for their wild parties, the remarkably quiet on the new single they Friday, solved the problem. (DB)
