Firefighters battle blaze after the explosion at the chemical factory

A large explosion at Texas chemical plant Thursday, at least one worker is missing and one person seriously injured, authorities said.
Firefighters work to battle the fire at the Tri-Chem Industries factory in Cresson, Dallas News reported. Video from the scene showed huge flames coming from the plant. The plant has collapsed after an explosion, the Hood County Sheriff’s Office said:

At least one person was injured after suffering severe burns, while another employee is missing. WFAA reported another person was injured.
CBS DFW reported the man missing is Dillon Mitchell, 27, an employee of the plant. The police have not released the name of the man missing.

Officials closed a portion of State Highway 171 as a result of the eruption. The authorities have not evacuated from the area.
The Fort Worth Fire department sent 10 units to the fire. Officials said that anyone who hovered in the air of the explosion should go to the hospital immediately.
The plant produces several products, including soap. It was not immediately clear what the cause of the explosion.
