A gunman opened fire at a Texas church, killing two and wounding others before he was shot by an armed community.

The shooter pulled out a gun during a church service in Texas on Sunday and opened fire on the worshippers seemed to be in disguise, and when he was in the holy place, for a woman, who said that he feel uncomfortable if he was sitting three feet away from her.

Two men were killed when the gunman opened fire at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, or more than the 240 I had. In just a few seconds, he was shot and killed by two of the members, who fired back.

“I should have listened to my gut,” Isabel Arreola, 38, told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. While he was there, and I could not be able to sing. I was not able to pray. There was just something not good about him. But, at the same time, I thought that maybe I was overdoing it.”

Arreola told the newspaper that she and her husband decided that she would move out with her 7-year-old daughter, on the other hand, the church of the holy communion. “I saw him pull the gun out and I was just in a panic, and then we’re going to go out, and we were just screaming, you know, in an attempt to get under the pews,” Arreola told CBS11.

Two people with minor injuries that are sustained while diving for cover, and were treated at the scene, according to MedStar Mobile Healthcare, president Macara Trusty.

When the gunman opened fire, Bevering said the church’s security team, and the elimination of the threat to” shoot and kill the suspect. An elder in the church told The New York Times that one of the dead was a security guard who responded to the gunman, who held him as a dear friend.

“He was trying to do what he needed to do in order to protect the rest of us,” Mike Tinius told the newspaper, adding, “It’s very disturbing to see that someone in the commission of acts of violence.”


While the authorities have yet to release information on the church’s volunteer security team, witnesses to the shooting, told CBS11 that the members of the church who shot the suspect is a former special agent for the FBI.

The actions of the two members who opened fire, as a part of the volunteer security team at the church to have been commended by the authorities at a press conference late Sunday.

“This team has responded rapidly and within approximately six seconds, as the shooting was over. Two of the parishioners who had been members of the security force drew their weapons and took on the killer’s right, it saves untold number of lives,” Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick told reporters, as he hailed the state’s gun laws.


While the authorities have not yet identified those killed in the shooting, and Tiffany Thomas, told Dallas TV station KXAS that she and her father, Anton “Tony” Wallace, was one of the victims of the attack. She told me that her father was a deacon in the church, and had just moved out of the community as well as the gunman approached him.

“I ran up to my father, and the last thing I remember is him asking for oxygen, and I was just holding him and telling him that I loved him, and that he was going to do,” Wallace said.

Thomas said her father was rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive.

Gov. In fact, Greg Abbott has asked the state to pray for the victims, their loved ones and the community of White Settlement, located about 8 km north-west of Fort Worth.

Places of worship are intended to be for the holy place, and for that I am grateful to the members of the church who have acted quickly to take down the shooter and prevent further loss of life,” Abbott said in a tweeted statement.
