Texas church bus crash: truck driver admitted to texting, taking of medication, accidents, records say


UVALDE, Texas Department of Safety of the data, it appears that Jack D. Young was texting while driving when he crashed into the church bus killed 13 people on March 29.

The report said that the Young, 20, crossed the centre marking on U.S. 83 and crashed into the bus with members of the church of the First Baptist Church in New Braunfels that are returning from a retreat.

A witness, Jan Kuchler, says Young was driving good before the crash. He has not been charged.

The National Transportation Safety Board revealed that the driver of the pick-up truck involved in the fatal crash was not wearing his seat belt.
