A janitor at a Texas cemetery, a grim discovery earlier this month, finding the body of a baby buried in a flower pot, police said Wednesday.
The deceased girl was found in the Perry Cemetery on 11 March in the caretaker “emptied what he knew a place on the pot,” according to a press release from the Carrollton Police Department.
He is the body of the child “under the pot on the soil,” police said.

The medical examiner found that the child weighed less than six pounds and was 34 weeks full-term, according to the authorities. Her umbilical cord was “still on,” police said.
Neither her race or if she was born in life was clear.
The flowerpot is believed to have arrived on the cemetery grounds between Feb. 27-March 2, based on data from the administrator, police said.

The police has with the public, asking for all information related to their research.
“One of our priorities is the identify of the baby to ensure a proper burial,” said the police.
