BEIJING (Reuters) – Electric vehicle (EV) maker Tesla Inc. (TSLA.(O) said on Friday that it is not a systematic error in the vehicle after the investigation of a vehicle fire in the city of Shanghai.
The company said in a statement posted on its Weibo social-media account that the joint investigation team had carried out the investigation and analysis of the battery, the software, the production data of the vehicle and it’s history.
The study did not find any systematic bias, and the initial results show that this is a unique event that is caused by a single battery module failure located on the front side of the vehicle, Tesla said.
