Tennessee man dies after shooting, crash, where deputies

WHITESIDE, Tenn. – Authorities say an East Tennessee man is dead after a shooting and crash that involved representatives.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Susan Niland, said Marion County deputies responded Tuesday night after a man called making threats to law enforcement officials. When deputies arrived on the scene in Whiteside, Niland says the man drove in the direction of them at a high speed.

The officials will not release the names or races of the suspect or the deputies.
