A Tennessee man is accused of slicing his boss’s throat with a steak knife, and on the Friday following the return-to-work-on-time out to de-stress, according to local reports.

John Herren’s, 40’s, walked into the shop, and the engineering firm Dale & Associates, in the Berry Hill, Tenn., the carrying of two knives, went behind the boss’s desk, reportedly picked up his head and slit his throat, The Tennessean reported, citing a statement.

The alleged attack took place in the afternoon.

The management and the Men both walked out of the office, the newspaper reported. Men took up the knife that he allegedly used it, but it had a second blade.

Berry Hill Police have reportedly recovered a falling knife.

The doctors dealt with the supervisor at a nearby hospital for “superficial cuts to his throat,” the Tennessean reported, adding that emergency medical services should be noted that the result would have been a lot worse, because the cut was very close to a major artery.

Roy, Dale, owner, Dale & Associates, and was not injured, told WKRN-TV that Men had been working at the department of engineering for more than a decade as a fashion designer.

The tv station reported that the Men recently told his boss that he was feeling tense and had a lot of time off.

“John, I was just expressing to us that he was a troubled time, and was very stressed and really wanted to do something different with the business, and we were happy for him,” the news station reported, ” Dale said.

“But he was still struggling, and he went down, and when he came back, this happened.”

Men were reportedly arrested “without incident” for a short period of time after the alleged assault. He has been charged with attempted criminal homicide.

Men do not have a previous arrest history in the state of Tennessee, WKRN reported, with reference to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
