Telecom provider Sprint will buy 33 percent of music service Tidal

The American telecoms provider Sprint has 33 percent of the muziekstreamingdienst Tidal acquired. The 45 million customers of the isp get in the future access to the service.

Rapper Jay Z, who left the service in 2015 had bought, continues to be the artistic director about the company, Sprint Monday announced. Tidal is aimed at music lovers audio in high quality streaming.

Sprint has in the acquisition of the minority interest is not disclosed how many subscribers to Tidal. The music service came last week in a speech, after a Norwegian newspaper revealed that Tidal would have lied about the number of customers.
