Ted Cruz and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez found, surprisingly, that the common ground on a proposal, tweeting about their agreement Thursday.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tex, a seemed just as surprised as everyone else when he admitted that he agreed with a proposal by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY.
The duo found a common Basis, according to the New York Democrat, prohibition, the legislature called for always lobbyists. Ocasio-Cortez got the ball rolling on Twitter, responding to a statistic that shows that 60 percent of the former Congress received members of the 115th Congress jobs as lobbyists or Federal policy, influence factors, something you have rejected.
“If you consider a member of Congress + left, you should not be allowed around a turn to the right & you will be using your service for a lobbyist,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “I don’t think it should a lobbyist be legal to ALL of a corporate, if you served ve in Congress. At least it should be a long wait.”
Cruz is the rare contract reminds one of the progressive members of Congress via tweet and opened the door for a possible cooperation on the future legislation.

“Here’s something I don’t often say is: in this point I AGREE with @AOC,” Cruz wrote. “Yes, I have for a long time for a LIFETIME BAN on former members of Congress, always a lobbyist. The swamp would hate it, but maybe a chance for some cross-party cooperation?”
Ocasio-Cortez seemed to be fascinated, but only if there is a “clean bill.”
“@TedCruz, if you I am serious about a clean bill, then at the bottom. Let’s make a deal,” Ocasio-Cortez replied. “If we smuggled some on an invoice, not a partisan-in clauses, no poison pills, etc – just a straight, clean ban, members of Congress always lobbyists paid for – then I will co-lead the bill with you.”
“You’re on, the” Cruz agreed.
