Taylor Swift is scheduled to deliver a surprise performance at the grammys on Sunday, but has since withdrawn due to accusations of sexism within the Recording Academy, according to a new report.

Variety was first to report that the 30-year-old – “Leaves” singer has been skipping to the music’s biggest night. Now, according to Page Six, explaining the reason behind Swift’s decision to bow out of the show for this has to do with the accusations of sexism within the Recording Academy.

A music industry insider told the outlet that Swift was set to perform on “The Man”, who is known to be one of the star of the most feminist songs of the differences between men and women.

The source is telling the outlet that Swift’s performance would be “extreme exercise.”

It’s been a busy week for Swift, who was also present at the Sundance Film Festival debut with the new Netflix documentary film, under the title of “Miss Americana.” In the doc, the brave star, brave revealing she battled an eating disorder before they began to live in the public eye.

Prior to that, the 30-year-old announced to her mother, Andrea, 62, was diagnosed with a brain tumour while undergoing treatment for cancer.
