Tankink extends contract with Lotto-Jumbo with a season

Bram Tankink is still a season. The 38-year-old driver has his contract with Lotto-Jumbo been extended by a year, reports the team Monday.

Tankink is his eighteenth season as prof. De Tukker has been driving since 2008 for the team, which at the time was still by Rabobank was sponsored.

“I’m glad this news is known to be able to make,” says Tankink on the website of the team. “The appreciation for my efforts from riders, staff and team management, has made me decide to do another year with this team.”

Team manager Richard Plugge praises the servant to his experience, knowledge and qualities. “Bram took this season a very high level and thus he is of great value for us.”

“Also for the atmosphere within the team he is an important pawn. In addition, he is a good mentor for the youngsters in the selection. Hopefully Bram his career in a beautiful way for our team to quit, when that may be.”
