Syrian rebels sceptical over truce
Various Syrian rebel groups are prepared to cooperate in the peace agreement that last week’s match was to come, but at the same time are very sceptical about certain aspects of it.
That is in a letter of the rebels, which is directed to, among others, the United States. The agreement was negotiated by the US and Russia.
‘Not comprehensive enough’
The deal provides for a ceasefire, which in the night from Sunday to Monday to take effect. In the agreement is not paid enough attention to besieged areas in Syria, so argue the rebels. They find that all the besieged areas of relief must be provided, without exceptions or conditions.
The rebels are also concerned that there is no method established for compliance with the agreement, or penalties for violation thereof.
The rebels sheet, also the fact that Syrian warplanes only nine days after the start of the cease-fire should stop flying.
