‘Syrian government used chlorine gas’
A series of attacks in Syria with chlorine gas between april 2014 and August 2015, was the work of the Syrian government.
That is the conclusion of a study of the United Nations, where Reuters news agency the hand, has managed to establish.
The united nations investigated the attacks, together with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and based on information from western countries and from the region, said an anonymous diplomat told Reuters.
He knew even the specific units of the Syrian armed forces as the attacking, including two helikoptersquadrons of the air force. “It’s going to the 22nd Division, the 63rd Brigade and squadrons 255 and 253 of the Syrian government,” said the diplomat.
The Syrian government use of chemical weapons has always denied. A source in the Syrian army did this once more, compared to Reuters.
“This issue is completely false. We consider the UN as a plaything of some countries that terrorists support,” said the Syrian source. Damascus describes almost all of his opponents as ‘terrorists’.
