Swedish justice hears Assange at embassy Ecuador

Julian Assange is on October 17, interrogated in the embassy of Ecuador in London. Sweden wants him for questioning because of allegations about a rape that, in 2010, he would have committed.

The hearing is led by an Ecuadorian prosecutor. Sweden sends public prosecutor Ingrid Isgren and a detective of police. Assange, against whom, in Sweden, a warrant for the arrest of runs, denies the allegations.

The now 45-year-old Australian activist and founder of WikiLeaks is staying since June 2012 in the embassy. He prevented extradition by britain to Sweden by the embassy of Ecuador to flights. He quickly got political asylum.

Assange was and is afraid that Sweden him, in turn, will extradite to the United States. He leaked in the past, data on an American helikopteraanval in Baghdad in 2007 in which civilians and journalists were killed. The Pentagon wants in any case, like with Assange’s talk.
