Suspect behind the big German internetstoring arrested
The British police have a suspect arrested for a cyberattack, which led to 900,000 customers of the German provider Deutsche Telekom had no access to the internet.
That reports Reuters. The suspect is coming from the United Kingdom and was at an airport in London arrested.
The 29-year-old suspect was arrested by the British National Crime Agency, according to the German police.
Last year was Deutsche Telekom hit by a large-scale internetstoring. A problem with routers made sure that customers not use the internet could connect.
The provider said during the outage that “external parties” may be the cause. Hackers would the routers have been attacked.
