JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Authorities say they have arrested a 16-year-old boy who fatally shot one person and injured two others after a Florida high school football game.
Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams announced the arrest of a teenager during a press conference Tuesday afternoon.
The authorities say that the Grand Park Alternative School student opened fire around 10 a.m. Friday as the crowd was leaving the Raines High School football game.

Officials say the 19-year-old Joerod Jamel Adams was killed, and his friend, a 17-year-old Raines student, was injured. The researchers believe that the shooter targeted the couple after getting into a fight with them during a game. Williams says that the shooter are victims gang of the tires.
A 16-year-old girl who lives rival Lee High School was injured by a stray bullet.
Approximately 4,000 people attended the game.
