Supreme court of Poland, the Council for the judiciary and the tuchtkamer biased

The Polish Supreme court on Thursday ruled that the council for the judiciary (KRS), and the new tuchtkamer partisan judicial bodies.

Previously, there had been doubts about the independence of the judicial organisations in the European Court of justice. The Court ruled, ultimately, from the previous month, the Polish Supreme court finally had to decide on the independence of the judicial bodies.

The KRS has as its main task to appoint the judges, and it is, therefore, independent of the courts themselves.
