Stray bullet whizzes in the pupils in the classroom; no injuries

NEW YORK – A stray bullet has flown through a window in a New York City high school class, and served as a bulletin board. No one was injured.

The New York Police Department says that someone has a gun fired about a block from the South Shore Educational Complex in Brooklyn late Tuesday morning. There were students in the classroom at the time.

The police do not believe the shooter was aiming at the school.
