‘Strange Things’ star David Harbour officiates fan the wedding of show costume

Hey internet. I know it’s been a while. I pulled me back. Needed some space. You probably get it. But I’ve been thinking about ya in the meantime. And all the retweets. And so me and some nice people in Springfield, Illinois on our promise we made all those months ago. pic.twitter.com/fZK8zNMQSi

David Harbour delivered on his vow to help a fan to say her own.

In January 2018, the ‘Strange Things’ – the actor promised to officiate a fan named Ericka the wedding if her request is received 125,000 retweets, and if the date is not in conflict with his filming schedule for Season 3 of the hit Netflix series.

“I read an acclaimed love letter of my choice,” he wrote at the time, “and after the cake is officially cut, I get the first piece.”

In the weekend, Port of, 43, revealed that he’d followed through on its promise, twitter a photo of himself in costume as Sheriff Jim Hopper on Ericka’s wedding.

“Hey internet. I know it’s been a while. I pulled me back. Needed some space. You probably get it. But I’ve been thinking about ya in the meantime. And all of your retweets,” he wrote. “And so me and some nice people in Springfield, Illinois, good on our promise we made all those months ago.”

It is not the first dream Port has come true for his fans: He previously posed for another fan’s yearbook photos at her request.
