On Tuesday, FOX announced that the Emmy award-winner on stage in Bangkok, Thailand, where the three-hour event will take place on 16 December.
In 2015, Harvey, 61, famous name of the wrong winner during the pageant. After the first announcement of Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, as the night the big winner, Harvey revealed he had made a mistake, and Miss the Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurzbach, was in fact the winner.
“No one feels worse about it than me,” the “Family Inheritance” host told reporters after the mix-up.
Together with Harvey, the reigning Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, of South Africa, will also this year to crown her successor.

“The Miss Universe contest offers women from all walks of life and all corners of the world will have the opportunity to represent their country and share their ideas, perspectives and personal experiences on an international stage,” Nel-Peters said in a statement.
“Becoming Miss Universe and changed the course of my life,” she added. “And I look forward to seeing which amazing woman will take next!”
