[WARNING: THE FOLLOWING STORY CONTAINS MAJOR “STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI” SPOILERS]
As fans prepare to flock to the theaters for the release of the latest installment of the “Star Wars” film series: “The Last Jedi,” one of the film’s stars brought a huge spoiler.
The cast of the highly anticipated Disney-produced film remained tight-lipped about what fans can expect to see in the new “Last Jedi” film, but Wednesday, during an interview with ITV’s “This Morning,” John Boyega turns out that there is one huge spoiler.
“This morning” hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, performed with a live stream video interview with Boyega, the star-questions about the movie, but in the Willoughby—who had apparently seen an advance screening of the film accidentally said: [SPOILER ALERT], “Fans will be very excited because Yoda is back!”
Clearly shocked by Willoughby’s mention of the movie spoiler, a frozen Boyega looked around nervously, clearly trying to think of the best way to quickly fix the accidental spoiler slip situation.

“Holly! Holly. I mean…You can’t tell the fans exactly what happens,” he said.
Willoughby, and then realized what she had done and tried to turn on her statement and said, “I don’t know what happens! That is up there?”
What Willoughby had thought was already generally known was in fact not. The casual mention of that detail had not “out there” until now.
And it didn’t take long for the fans to react on the “this morning” spoiler slip. A number of people took to Twitter to express their frustration with the “this morning” interview.
“I am very seldom watch #ThisMorning the one occasion [sic] it’s on, and Holly drops a HUGE(!) #StarWarsTheLastJedi spoiler!!,” a user wrote.

“Omg Holly to give away a pretty big #starWars spoiler on #ThisMorning… absolutely hilarious. John Boyega on a search for his people to help kill me…”

Already figuring that the damage was done, Boyega said: “You know what, things happen. Get your ticket! Order your ticket!”
Both presenters have worked hard to try and redeem themselves after the revelation of the spoiler. Schofield tried to defend his co-host and said, “Maybe Yoda is not back?”
“Yes, I do not know!” Willoughby added and then went on to say that they don’t understand what they said about Yoda to come back, and that she was actually trying to indicate something else.
While “this morning” had this large spoiler fall, there are still plenty of uncertainties about the land of far, far away to the left in the movie that hasn’t been revealed yet.
“Stars Wars: The Last Jedi” hits theaters on Friday.
