A dying man’s wish to see the new “Star Wars” film to come, thanks to the local fire department and medical doctors.

Ron Villemaire has stage 4 colon cancer and is in hospice care in Bedford, New Hampshire. He is a huge “Star Wars” fan, but can not go to a theatre and sit in a chair.

After a public plea from his daughter, the Bedford and New Boston fire department say they are taking him Saturday with the ambulance to a theater, and transfer him to a hospital bed. Medics will be on hand during the “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

The 69-year-old Villemaire will be joined by family and friends, but also as Darth vader and the storm trooper.

Villemaire is a U. S. Air Force veteran and be greeted by representatives thank him for his service.
