Director George Lucas gives ten million dollars (9.2 million euros) on the film programme of the University of Southern California. With the money wants, the director of diversity at the training stimulating.
The director and creator of Star Wars donated in 2016, even though ten million dollars to the faculty of a film fund and a diversity plan, reports Daily News. The second ten million is to have more students from minority groups to give the opportunity to study at the prestigious film school.
“It allows us to be storytellers whose voices are often not heard to be a place in the world of film and media, and from their stories, we can all benefit,” said Michael Renov, dean of the film making.
