Star walk in Women’s March against Trump
In hundreds of locations in the world walk for women on Saturday in protest marches against the new American president Donald Trump. Also many American stars to join the Women’s March.
Amongst them singer Katy Perry, who is on Instagram to let you know to take part to put an end to “the circle of oppression and inequality”.
“I’ll show you today, because I no longer am afraid and I hope to be an example of fearlessness and resilience. I am no one to me to oppress me, to silence me or to limit,” writes Perry under a baby picture of her and her sister Angela, with whom they protest.
Also actress Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) is Saturday present at the Womens March in Washington. They share via Instagram a picture showing how they are together with friends, preparing for the march.
Actresses Amber Tamblyn and Ellen Page and writer Elizabeth Gilbert are according to photos on social media is also the demonstration in Washington.
Also in Park City, Utah, where the Sundance film festival is in full swing, walk different celebrities take part in a demonstration which is led by comedian and actress Chelsea Handler.
