Staff Korean Air tasers use on aggressive passengers
The flight attendants of Korean Air can now tasers (stroomstootwapens) if passengers cause a nuisance. They will receive training.
The Korean airline had its staff already equipped with the weapons, but until recently they should use them only if for example, terrorists directly in front of danger to ensure. Those rules have now been relaxed, reports The Guardian.
The carrier arrived last week in the news when a passenger on board for hours before riot made.
The issue got attention because the American singer Richard Marx, who by chance was on board, wrote about on his facebook page. In addition, he criticised the “unprepared” Korean Air staff bright.
