The members of the progressive “cadre” stepped up their demand for impeachment on Wednesday, rebuffing President Trump’s attempts to concerns of press by releasing a transcript of his telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky from July.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, argued given the Protocol, the conversation was “worse than we thought” and accused the President of betrayal of the country.
“Guys, I’m surprised that the White house released this transcript. It’s worse than we thought. The President is trying to use to examine the powers of the government of the United States, the political opponents,” she said.

Ocasio-Cortez’s comments came after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was announced, the opening of an impeachment investigation — something that the speaker were not, showed up to the details surrounding Trump’s talk with Zelensky.
“Either the President doesn’t know that the weight of his words, or he doesn’t care about ethics or his constitutional responsibilities,” she said in a statement Wednesday obtained by Fox News.
“The transcript and the justice is acting in a rogue fashion in complicity in the President’s lawlessness to confirm the need for a law enforcement request. Clearly, Congress must act.”
The transcript, released on Wednesday, showed that Trump has no explicit mention of a quid-pro-quo exchange of U.S. foreign Biden’s help for an investigation of former Vice-President, Joe. Biden, the 2020 democratic pioneer, moved to exam pressure on Ukraine in order to fire its top Prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who is the investigation of a natural gas company, where his son, Hunter, serves on the board of directors.
As Ocasio-Cortez noted that the transcript was a “verbatim” account, but was on the basis of the “notes and reminders”, one of which, the observation of the call.
Fellow “Squad” Member, Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Ocasio-Cortez, joined the call for impeachment, with the argument that the transcript alone was proof that the Congress should pursue, a formal procedure.

By contrast, the President, Trump declared victory after the transcript of the release. “Will have to excuse the Democrats, after he was told what the conversation with the Ukrainian President? You should have a perfect call – you got a surprise!” he tweeted.

It seemed unlikely that the Democrats announced way impeachment because Pelosi, the request before the White house released the transcript. Pelosi, on Tuesday, will also Trump administration claims the law is broken by the suppression of a whistleblower reported the conversation with the Ukraine.
