One of London’s sports reporter called for a train passenger on Wednesday to put bare feet on an empty chair.
Sky-Sports-presenter-Faye Carruthers has shared a photo of the passengers on the Thameslink train, with its more than 25,000 followers. “This is wrong on so many levels…#people”, as she puts it, with subtitles.
The post drew the ire of a disgusted Twitter user, who is the passenger in bare feet, comfort is disgusting.

“Why are there people like that?” one Twitter user commented.
“I have to tell you, they can be hit with a newspaper, that’s just gross,” another person wrote.
Others shared their own individual problems during the trip, such as to a person who, together with a series of pictures of people putting their feet on empty seats, even though none of them were on their feet.
“I can see your pic & raise you… a Small collection of “eewwwww” things that can’t be seen,” the person tweeted.

Another Twitter user asked what the problem was, with bare feet on a train seat, or “in a passenger’s decision to break the wind and is very hard to be on a Sunday night on our way to Southampton.”
“He did it without a care in the world. The smell was as bad as the noise,” she tweeted.
After a number of commenters, the presumption is that the train is a passenger Carruthers took a photograph it was of a man who, they later clarified it was a female.
Everyone thought that it was a guy – it’s a woman,” she tweeted, “it Was [very] tempted to say something, you’ll be able to move.”

Not everyone, however, felt the passenger’s behaviour is so bad. One person said that she thought that she was just being “polite.”
“They’ll probably think they’re being polite by not putting her shoes on the seat!” the Twitter user said.
