Spanish archipelago is illegal renting to tourists punish
The Balearic islands, from Tuesday, stricter monitoring on the illegal renting of properties to tourists. Homeowners on the Spanish archipelago of risking fines of up to 40,000 euros.

Real estate agents, real estate brokers and digital platforms, such as Airbnb and Homeaway have even amounts up to € 400,000 to pay when they are homes that are not intended to be rent out to tourists.
The law on the Balearic islands is not new. Already in 2012, the illegal rental prohibited, but the authorities failed compliance check.
