A study of a South Carolina man in the fatal shooting of his daughter has led to the murder of the costs.
Jermaine Pressley, 43, of Greenville, was accused of discharging a weapon with the intent of killing a person, resulting in the death of the victim, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday in an arrest affidavit.
Nadeja Jermainequa Pressley, 23, was killed at 1 a.m. Sunday, when her father saw her for a burglar. She was struck after her father fired through the door.
The researchers are not in dispute Pressley’s claim of “but who was that door he intended to shoot,” the Lt. Ryan Flood told Fox News Friday.

Pressley was also accused of possession of a weapon during a violent crime and three counts of a felon in possession of a firearm.
The researchers said that his conviction for possession of heroin 15 years ago, barred him from owning a gun. The researchers said they found three guns in his house.

Pressley was charged with drug possession on Monday, a day after the shooting.
He was denied bond at a hearing Friday, Fox Carolina reported.
Several members of his family were there for the appearance.

“This was a tragic accident,” Pressley’s cousin, Rokiesha Suber said, according to the station. It was a mistake. We love Jermaine. Jermaine loved his daughter. His daughter was all he had. She was his pride and joy. The family is united.”
