South Africa issues arrest warrant against the wife of Robert Mugabe

South Africa has a warrant of arrest issued against Grace Mugabe, wife of the former Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe. That has the South African police Wednesday announced. She is suspected of the abuse of a South African model.

The former first lady of Zimbabwe (53) would in August last year Gabriella English have attacked in a hotel in Johannesburg.

Mugabe would English have been accused to have partied with her two sons, Robert jr. and Chatunga, and the model on her head beaten with an extension cord. She denies that: according to Mugabe, was “intoxicated and ejected” English her with a knife.

The South African ministry of International Relations and Cooperation decided Mugabe’s diplomatic immunity to grant, but that decision was in July, be annulled by the court.

Elderly dictator was last year deposed

Robert Mugabe (94) carried out from 1987, an authoritarian rule in Zimbabwe, that came to an end when he, last year, was deposed after a coup by the Zimbabwean army.

The immediate impetus for the coup were his efforts to clear the way for the appointment of his wife Grace to his successor. Because of her wastefulness, she assists in the poverty-stricken country known as ‘Gucci Grace’ and ‘The First Shopper’.

At the end of last month, it was announced that the aged Robert Mugabe is no longer able to independently walk. The ex-dictator receives all months medical treatments in Singapore, but it is not known what health problems he or she faces.
