Rosenstein is pushing back against a New York Times report

New York Times claims proposed by Rosenstein, secretly recording Trump and the appeal of the 25-Change; ‘MediaBuzz’ host Howard Kurtz and a law professor Jonathan weigh Turley in ‘The story.’

A source who was in the room during the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of state spoke to attorney Rod Rosenstein, supposedly, someone perhaps with “a wire” at the meeting with President Trump tells Fox News that the comment was “sarcastic.”

The meeting in question took place in the main DOJ on may 16, 2017. This was a week after FBI Director James Comey was dismissed by the President, and the day before the Special Counsel Müller the investigation has been brought in to oversee an investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential elections.

Fox News has learned that the Assembly in question contain Rosenstein, Andrew McCabe, then Deputy Director of the FBI, and former FBI lawyer, Lisa page, among several others.

Fox News’ source said: “I remember this meeting and remember the wire comment. The statement was sarcastic, and was never discussed, with the intention of recording a conversation with the President.”

“Andy [McCabe], and the DAG not really know,” said the source, referring to the abbreviation for Rosenstein’s post. “They were each other.”

Rosenstein was sworn in as the Deputy attorney General on April 26, 2017, just a few weeks prior to the meeting. McCabe has, according to Comey as his mentor and met with Rosenstein, who had authored used a memo to Trump, in part, to fire Comey. “Maybe that’s wrong, Andy’s room, got it,” the source said. “It was not a serious proposal.”

But Fox News has also said that they are from a separate source familiar with McCabe’s notes, New York Times story on Friday about Rosenstein was “right”, and it was thinking of the McCabe, Rosenstein words were not made in jest.

The times ” – a bombshell report said Rosenstein had proposed the inclusion of Trump’s exposing the chaos at the White house to appoint a recruitment Cavbinet members, to remove the 25-Amendment, the President.

Some DOJ insiders pointed out McCabe as the source of the times story, say they were the “desperate measures” by a man under Federal investigation.

Fox News has reported that McCabe is under investigation by the U, S, attorney’s office. Prosecutors have impaneled a grand jury, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe to the Department of Justice inspector general report that claims that McCabe approved media disclosure to advance his personal interests.
