Some of the bullet fired on a crowded Texas flea market send 7 people to the hospital, the police said

In a busy flea market will be turned into panic, Sunday night in Texas after police said a man accidentally fired a shot, causing seven people to the hospital.

Jose Manuel Guerrero-Reyes, 25, was charged with aggravated assault causing bodily injury. The police said all the victims are expected to survive.

“At one point he takes it [the gun], and has his finger on the trigger and it goes off, shooting the person in front of him,” Harris County, Senior Deputy Thomas Gilliand said to the Washington Post.

The bullet hit a 30-year-old man in the thigh at around 7 a.m., before ricocheting off of the concrete dance floor and a window, a striking, six adults suffered minor injuries. For those who are injured, four of them between the ages of 26 and 33 and two women, ages 26 and 43, the paper said.

Guerrero-Reyes has allegedly told investigators his hand in his pocket, when the gun in his pocket — discharged due to an injury. Harris County Sheriff, Ed Gonzalez, said the claims made by the defendant are contrary to the evidence.

He said Guerrero-Reyes had been drinking.

“We don’t know if he was fumbling around with the gun, that is irresponsible, or if he was actually going to shoot anyone,” Gonzalez told the Post. “Guns and alcohol are not a good combination, especially when he’s not supposed to have a gun in this room.”

Gonzelez was wondering why someone would bring a gun to market that had a high level of attendance by the police at the time of the shooting. The second one, which caterers to the direction of the families had hundreds of people attend a “live dance music” in the building.

The sheriff added that the Guerrero-Reyes, was not connected to the guy who was shot first in the thigh, and his motive remains unclear.
