At Thursday’s Democratic presidential debate, the Vermont independent said, the current makeup of the court is “terrible” after the additions of Neil from gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, but he does not believe in the “packing the court.”

“I think the Constitution we have the power to turn the judges to other courts, and bring new blood into the Supreme court and a majority, I hope, will understand that a woman has a right to control over her own body, and the company can not be executed, the United States of America,” he said.

Sanders’ bizarre pitch was quickly criticized by many in the legal community.

Responding to “America’s Newsroom” Wisenberg, a lawyer and former Deputy Independent Counsel in the whitewater /Lewinsky investigation – called the proposal “idiocy.”

“It would be absolutely unconstitutional,” he said, adding that “packing” the court by expanding to more justice would not be unconstitutional, although they are still a “radical idea.”

“President Roosevelt paid a high price for trying to do that. He was not successful, but the Supreme Court has always had nine members,” he noted.

Meanwhile, President of the Trump of the hills said election, at the beginning of this week, he would fill “in any case,” the other Supreme court is empty, if it is opened, before the 2020 presidency.

“We have the Senate. We have a great Senate,” the President told the hill, referring to a Republican majority in the chamber of the Congress that the rules on Supreme Court nominees.

“We have great people. If we were able to get him approved, I would definitely do it. … If it is three days [before the election in 2020], I would me someone in the hope that I could get ’em done in three days, OK?”
