SoftBank to announce a $40 billion investment in the second Vision Fund: WSJ

(Reuters) – SoftBank Group, Corp. is expected to announce a $40 billion investment in the new technology fund, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

The company has been raising funds for the follow-up to a $100 billion Vision for this Fund. It has led to the investment of the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. and Standard Chartered Plc, has been in talks with Microsoft Corp, the wall street journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

They turned to the council is set to approve a $40 billion investment fund, on Thursday, according to the Journal. (on.wsj.com/2LEmBCr)

SoftBank does not immediately respond to a request for comment.
