Maine Democratic Senate candidate Zak marigold stone, over the weekend, he is now a Democratic socialist announced, giving him the first Senate candidate from a major party to join formally, the political movement.
Marigold stone, which is a challenge to the established, independent sen Angus King, had previously refused to say if he was a member of the Democratic socialists of America, but he told the Associated Press over the weekend that he is officially a member of the group.
“I stand with the Democratic socialists, and I have decided to make a contribution-paying member of the” marigold stone said. “It’s time to do what is right, even if it is simple.”

Marigold stone, a 32-year-old political newcomer, is expected to plunge prior to a climb in his campaign, King, an independent group meetings with the Democrats.

Republicans have seized on what they race as a left stitch of Democrats, which they predict will alienate voters this fall and in the year 2020, presidential.
