Socialism Rising: a plurality of Dems want to move US in the direction of socialism, according to Fox News poll

A plurality of Democrats think it would be a “good thing” for the United States in the direction of socialism, according to a Fox News poll released on Thursday, the last character is for the democratic party of the stitch on the left-hand side.

The survey asked the voters to move whether it is a “good thing or a bad thing for the United States, away from capitalism and more toward socialism.” Forty percent of the Democrats said it would be a good thing, while only 34 percent said it would be a bad thing.

Among all voters surveyed, 54 percent said that it was a step in the direction of socialism would be bad, with only 24 percent say it would be good. The Republicans were against the shift, with 80 per cent who say that socialism would be a bad move, and eight percent say it would be good.

The poll also found that voters prefer raising the spending on domestic programs over tax cuts and spending cuts, and their preferred way of financing these expenditures is by the taxation of the rich.

Other surveys have shown that a similar movement to the left, not only Democrats, but Americans in General.

Back in 2010, 68 percent of young people 18-29 years old, she explained, the release of capitalism, while 51 percent said they approved of socialism, according to Gallup. Fast forward to August 2018, and the same age group back socialism over capitalism, 51 percent to 45 percent.

Democrats, meanwhile, were evenly divided between capitalism and socialism back in 2010. But now, 57 percent say they hold a positive view of socialism, compared with 47 percent who say the same for capitalism.

The survey is the latest sign of the party to the left, especially as a series of 2020, the President hopes to have approved, once-fringe-policy, such as Medicare-for-all and a Green New Deal.

On Thursday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., announced a new “wealth tax” proposal to the Americans, with more than $ 50 million in assets.
