CASCADE, Md. – Ten snakes with the potential to deliver a deadly bite of the man were found in the home of a Maryland resident popularly known as “VenomMan20.”
The Maryland Natural Resources Police announced Monday a 28-year-old Brandon Joseph Boyles had posted videos to YouTube under that name, attracting millions of views.
A researcher learned that Boyles took five poisonous snakes, three alligators and a crocodile that he had when he left his job at the Catoctin Zoo and Wildlife preserve in September last year. In November, he turned in a Dusky Pygmy Rattlesnake, in which a search warrant.
The officials two dead cobras in a freezer, and snakes housed in poor conditions in areas that can easily escape.
Boyles is charged with 23 offences, including animal cruelty. It is unclear whether he has a lawyer.
