NEW YORK – a Number of municipalities north of New York City are being hunted by a magnitude 2.2 earthquake.
The U. S. Geological Survey, says the earthquake registered on: 6:14 pm, Wednesday in the Lake Mohegan area of New York.
Some residents of Westchester and Putnam counties posted on social media about the earthquake. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
Lake Mohegan is about 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of New York City.
