Slovakia demands more fish in fish fingers
Slovakia will not get the same quality fish sticks and other European countries, and this discrimination must soon come to an end.
This said the Slovak prime minister Robert Fico shortly before a regional summit meeting Wednesday with the leaders of Hungary, Czech republic and Poland.
Fico is imminent according to the BBC, with boycotmaatregelen against products from other European countries if the European Commission does not intervene.
Fico has said that in his country there are less fish in the fish sticks in Slovakia to be sold, than for example in Austria with the same brand and the same packaging over the counter. According to Fico does this unfair phenomenon also in, among others, tackle fabric softener and coffee.
Fico goes next week with the president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, about the discrimination talk. He does so not only on behalf of Slovakia, as also other Eastern European countries have complained that they are sometimes less value for money than the richer EU member states.
