Skippers with heels over the ditch to the final 100 metres in Birmingham
Dafne Schippers has Sunday at the Diamond League in Birmingham with the heels over the ditch for the final of the 100 metres.
Skippers finished fourth in her heat in 11,19, while only the first three are directly qualified for the final showdown.
The Utrecht was one of the two tijdsnelsten in the two series. The Uk’s Asha Philip was sixth in 11,20 and just fell out of the boat. Marie-Josée Ta Lou was in 10,94 the fastest in the series.
Skippers conquered two weeks ago at the world CHAMPIONSHIPS in London, bronze in the 100 metres in a time of 10,96. The Dutch win also the world championship title in the 200 meters.
The final of the 100 metres to 17.08 hours on the programme in Birmingham.

Richard Douma finished not on the miles at the Diamond League competition in England. The Brit Jake Wightman went in 3.54,92 with the victory to get.
Douma finished a week and a half ago at the world CHAMPIONSHIPS in the semi-finals of the 1,500 meters. The mile (1.609 meters) is a dedicated distance.
