Six-time Emmy-winner Tim Conway (85) died

Tim Conway is Tuesday at age 85 died, reports People Tuesday. The American actor is known for roles in the variétéprogramma The Carol Burnett Show and supporting roles in series such as 30 Rock.

Conway played several comic characters in The Carol Burnett Show and won this multiple times for a Primetime Emmy. In 1976, gave his share in that program also gave him a Golden Globe. Previously he had already had his own sitcom, The Tim Conway Show.

Later Conway supporting roles in well known series such as Married With Children, Glee, Two and a Half Men and 30 Rock. With that last role he won in 2008 his sixth Emmy.

In addition, he spoke to the voice of superhero Barnacle Boy in for the popular cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants.

The actor leaves a wife and six children behind.
