Singer The Kik pulls songs Marco Borsato not
Dave von Raven, lead singer of the Rotterdam formation The Kik, hates the lyrics in the songs of Marco Borsato.

Borsato’s texts would, no humour and, according to Raven, he is not the only one. “(…) that is when all the guests so. They are afraid that the cabaret is if there is even something to laugh about? I find that a poptekst understand very well a joke or a small gift can have.”
Boudewijn de Groot
The Kik recently brought their third album, Town and Country, and enter Thursday in the Amsterdam Paradiso. In order to verify their new work well enough to release, he asks the Raven his idol Boudewijn de Groot for advice.
“If we have a new record, the first thing I will do this thing in an envelope douwen and to Boudewijn send. Normally I get a very detailed letter back in which he is the record number for number review.”
This time got the band in the opinion of the 72-year-old singer in fewer words than usual, but nevertheless gave them a good feeling.
The Big hit “rock-songs” on the album: “Nice to hear from the man who For the survivors was, for me, the best Dutch album of all time.”
